Measuring Guide
Everyone measures a little differently, so here's how to measure for our sizing.
We are not responsible for altering, refunding or replacing ill-fitting collars if they were not measured correctly.

Collars buckle and martingale
- Use a buckle collar for measuring- adjust it to your preferred fit for your dog. Most people prefer it to be loose enough to fit 2-3 fingers under it while it's on the dog. Others like it to be able to slide over their head to go on. This is up to you. Adjust it to fit the way you like. That's what matters.
- Unclip the collar and lay it parallel with a measuring tape or stick (in US inches).
Like so:
- Now line up the outside part of the buckle to the beginning of your tape measure.
- Here's the most important part look at the end where the other half of the buckle is.
Measure to the line where the outside of the buckle stops when it's buckled.
DO NOT MEASURE TO THE END- this will add about 1" on to your final length. That may not be a big deal for a mastiff, but for a Jack Russell, it'll be huge.
This is the number we need for sizing for both buckle and martingale collars.
Breed and age also will help with determining what range of adjustment your pup will need.
