Josie, true to the Redhot litter, is happy happy happy! She is enthusiastic about all that she does- work and fun are one and the same. She is a working cadaver dog for her mom and travels at least monthly on days-long searches with the regional SAR team. She's a focused worker and has been an extreme natural at all things scent-detection related. Josie loves toys, hugs, play, air, friends, food, and fun. There's not much this girl doesn't enjoy. She's very appropriate with all dogs, taking every interaction in stride. She lives with her mom, Cheryl and her control-freak border collie sister, Brie here in Colorado. She will stay here at Avid and raise her pups with us until they're ready to head to their new homes.
She's from a very versatile litter with siblings excelling in stockwork as well as agility and expect the same potential from her pups.

Tyger is light on leash, enthusiastic about training, playful, and incredibly sweet. He’s also a formidable cattle dog with the ability to think on his own. Tyger finished his WTCH with very limited trialing. He is a very confident worker, hitting both heads and heels on cattle when necessary.
Tyger is the perfect combination of sweeping gaits, size and substance, and true herding talent. His resiliance, intelligence, and bidability are an asset both to this kennel, and I believe to Australian Shepherds as a breed.
Tyger brings together bloodlines from Las Rocosa, Crown Point, W Lazy J, Lor A, and Silverledge, just to name a few.

Josie and Tyger should come together to create happy, enthusiastic, playful dogs ready to take on the world (or arena) side by side with their human. Both are great teammates, biddable, and eager. They'll be slow-maturing so don't expect to have/see these pups in competition for a few years. As this is a linebreeding on WTCH Crown Point Emperor Napoleon, it's fair to expect scary-smart, a touch handler soft, dog-appropriate, nice stock dogs who respond to pressure well and have work ethic and stamina in spades. Both enjoy toys, naturally play fetch, love their cuddles and are a pleasure to be around. Priority goes to working homes who enjoy partnership over robotics- these should be thinking dogs eager to solve problems but will not tolerate excessive drilling.
